Our Story
Phanos was created from a place of prayer, intention, and a heart to serve others. After
becoming a born-again Christian, I—Monique—was deeply inspired by the Proverbs 31
woman and her life of virtue, diligence, and care. As I sought God’s guidance on how to
grow in that same virtue, one message became clear: use your hands to create
something meaningful. I wanted to find something would allow me to stay home more
with my family as well as bless those around me. I reflected on the peace I feel when
lighting a candle after cleaning—a small moment of calm, warmth, and joy. That simple
pleasure became a symbol of rest and restoration. I knew I wanted to offer that
experience to others through carefully handcrafted candles.
What are the differences between the classic style candle and the new style?
Our classic candles are our original brand and are mostly seasonal. They use
soy wax as opposed to our new brand which use coconut soy wax which allows
for a slower burn making it last longer. They are both strong and slow burning but
our new brand (best sellers) is just a bit better.
Do you offer a flameless option?
We offer wax melts in our top selling scents (new brand). This option is available
in the drop-down menu for each of those scents.
Candles tend to give me headaches and aggravate me allergies. How are your candles
different?
Our candles are made with coconut soy wax, premium fragrance oils that are
free from phthalates and non-toxic wicks. That means that they don’t any of
those harsh chemicals that most candles made with paraffin wax or wax blends
have. Our candles won’t have black smoke coming off them which means no
nasty chemicals burning into the air that cause those headaches and allergies!
